The Big suprise BD party

I had a BD. The big one for me. Didn't think I'd make it this long. Boy did I celebrate.

My kids had me a SUPRISE BD party. Boy was I suprised!! For my BD I am going with my daughter to The Holyland Experience in Orlando, Fl.

She said if I was good she would consider taking me on a Cruise Ship to the BAHAMAS. Woo Hoo will I ever be good. Tee Hee

She is my neighbor and is so sweet.
She is all crippled up but that don't stop her.

I've been out taking pic's again. Hope you enjoy. I love nature.
I was getting ready to take this pic of the deer and if you look close you will see just his rear end sticking out of the trees. He thought he was hiding from me. So cute!

Oklahoma City Bombing

This picture was taken at the Oklahoma City bombing site. This statue is right across the street where the Federal building was. To stand and look at Jesus weeping is so very touching. I took this pic in one of my many travels.

I've always called my great grandaughter (My lil movie star). She's now doing various commercials and ads. Isn't she a cutie?

My big surprise!!

My internet friend who sent me the card below also sent me this beautiful wood plaque. I hung it on my wall and when I go to bed that is the first thing I see.
She ask her husband to make it for me. It is a very beautiful piece of art. I absolutely love it!! Thank you Neva and your husband. Hugs to you.

My Castle

This is my lil corner of Iowa. The Lord blessed me with this place and I love it here. It's a very small town sitting right in the middle of the country. Just beautiful and peaceful. God's creation is all around me.
On the inside is my scrapbooking, crocheting, quilting and best friend. What else could a girl possibly want?

My get well flowers

I haven't been feeling well and my son came to visit me today and I told him what the doctor said. He left and walked down to the park and came back with this beautiful bouquet of peonies. It's the first time I have ever gotten flowers from him. Isn't that sweet? Thanks Ricky
And the box the flowers are on, my daughter Cheryll ( The Memory Keeper) made for me. I love this box! It matches my primitive decor.

Card for a friend

My Big Fat Squirrel

This squirrel sits out on my tree and eats and eats and eats. He is just the cutest. Look how fat he is. He always gets to eat first. Then I have to put more corn out for the other squirrel's. What a wonderful time I have with the critters and nature.

My New Scrapping Space!

I just spent a month in Missouri

with my daughter Cheryll (The Memory Keeper).

She has been trying to get me to scrapbook for 2 years...

I just kept telling her it wasn't my "cup of tea".

She has turned her spare bedroom into her scrap room

and that's where I slept while I was there.

How could anyone spend that much time

in a room FULL of scrapbooking supplies

and not become interested???

While there I bought a Cricut, several cartridges,

a Cuttlebug, gobs of stamps,

paper and MANY other supplies.

I live in a VERY SMALL

senior housing apartment (630 square feet)

and when I got home

I had no idea what I was going to do with all this stuff!
But I managed!

How much fun am I going to have!
